Some have nothing.“ Rotaract invests in initiatives that promote health and well-being among children through proper nutrition and practicing healthy lifestyle. The #SaveSAM Project (SAM stands for Severe Acute Malnutrition) is a project conducted by the Rotaract Club of Carmen Valley for the benefit of selected children in Brgy. Bugo, Cagayan de Oro City.
The Rotaract club provided continuous supply of eggs and vegetables to children for 120 days to sustain nutritious food intake among children. Their Body Mass Indexes were also measured to track improvement of nutritional status. Help in growing more healthy children by being an advocate of consumption of nutritious food. Fighting hunger also means fighting for more nutritious food. Together, We Fight Hunger. #PeopleOfAction
