Awareness of Teenage Pregnancy and HIV/AIDS

Adolescent pregnancy is a worldwide issue, although it is more prevalent in poorer and marginalized groups. Many young females are put under a lot of pressure to marry and have children while they are still young. When girls are denied the freedom to make decisions about their sexual and reproductive health and well-being, teen pregnancy rates rise. Girls must be able to make decisions about their bodies and futures on their own, as well as having access to proper healthcare and education.
And in a broader essence, boys should also take responsibility in the prevention and awareness of teenage pregnancy. The Gugma Sa Kabataan Foundation had another lecture on HIV AIDS to raise awareness on the dreadful disease headed by PDRR Jundee Lourence. This topic was added with Teenage pregnancy as it is also seen as a common problem in the society. Both topics have been correlated for quite some time and education can be a good prevention and a solution.
Gugma sa Kabataan Foundation (GSK) is a non-profit organization that keeps children from making the street their home or place of employment.
