One of the most meaningful episodes of every mother’s life is bearing a child. While it is fulfilling, it does not come without risks and struggles. Hence, a lot of things must be considered by soon to be mothers and people around them to ensure safe pregnancy and healthy new-born child. Rotaractor Ana is also a soon-to-be mom and she volunteered to be a facilitator in the Rotaract Club of Carmen Valley’s Nanay Agapay (Care for the Mother) Project held last December 12, 2020 at Barangay Lumbia, Cagayan De Oro City.
Through the project, she had the opportunity to impart her knowledge on the importance of breastfeeding and correct maternal practices. With the help of other community experts and project partners, they were able to address questions of 100 soon-to-be mothers and provided them with maternal kits.
